                     These days we can see everywhere people riding bicycles that look a lot racing bikes, but with colorful frame and wheels. Yes, after the BMX in the 80s and the mountain bike in the 2000s, now it’s the turn for fixies to become a trend among bike enthusiasts

What is a fixie?
                    fixie is the popular term for a fixed-gear bicycle or fixed-wheel bicycle. Mechanically, it’s because the pedals are always in mentions in the same rhythm as its wheels. It’s because the pedals are chained directly to the rear wheel. With other types of bikes, a rider can’t stop pedaling when the bikes is speed and the wheels will still be turning. Not so with fixies it’s impossible for the rider to move forward or backward without the pedals moving, too. Another thing that makes a fixie different is that it has no brakes.

Why choose a fixie?
                     A simple frame design, minimum accessories, weight, and particulary, the color choices of frames and wheels, are the reasons why people choose this type of bike.  I think it’s fun to build a bike in color that suit us love. Said wida.  A fixie rider, when asked why he chose it. It’s also light and easy to reassemble.

How did the fixie come about?
                   The earliest type of bicycles had no pedals, the bike moved forward as the rider pushed along the ground with his feet. Bicycles with pedals connected with his feet. Bicycles with pedals connected with chains to the wheel, like the fixie we know today, are believed to have been created by Kirkpatrick Macmillan in 1839. So, we can say that the fixie is the mother of all bikes.
                   The fixied-gear bicycle became popular as a racing vehicle. Bicycle races in velodromes were  a big business in the 1870s in the US. But the urban culture of riding fixed-gear bikes on the streets was rooted in the bike messenger services. For the lowly-paid messenger couriers who delivered messages, documents and peckages, a fixie was the perfect choice because it was relatively cheap, had very few pants that could possibly break and of course, it was fst
